CHANGES TO THE CITROËN UK PR TEAM (Not for publication)
After almost 10 years in the Citroën UK PR team – most recently as PR Manager – Katie Read will leave her current role on Friday 1 February 2019 to further her career in another area of the Citroën UK business.
Citroën UK has confirmed that PR Manager, Katie Read, will begin a new position as Sales Zone Manager for the brand, effective from Monday 4 February 2019.
Katie has held a number of roles within Groupe PSA over the past 14 years and has been an integral part of the Press Office team for almost 10 years.
Getting hands on with challenging projects, overseeing Citroën Racing activities and being at the forefront of exciting new product launches, Katie has been an invaluable asset to the PR team. Katie’s new role will see her working closely with our franchise partners in the Citroën UK dealer network.
Transferring from the Peugeot Marketing team, Product Manager, Simon Broome will replace Katie as PR Manager for Citroën UK in the very near future. Simon’s start date is still to be confirmed.
John Handcock, Head of Communications at Citroën UK, commented; “I’d like to thank Katie for all her amazing work over the years. Her vast knowledge, professionalism and engaging personality will be sorely missed. Emma and I wish her the very best of luck in her new role as Sales Zone Manager.”
John Handcock continued; “We are excited to welcome Simon to the team and I’m confident his wealth of product and industry knowledge will be of great value in his new role. We’re looking forward to seeing Katie temporarily return to the Press Office when Simon starts with us, to provide a full and thorough handover. Our goal is to ensure seamless continuity of service to our media colleagues during this transition period.”
